Changes as of October 15

Since October 15 the following documents are required to visit the aquarium sauna: submission of proof of vaccination (analog or digital) or proof of recovery and an official document (identity card or passport) to compare your data. Photos and copies will not be accepted.

The steam bath is now open again. Wearing a mouth/nose cover is obligatory. The swirling of the air during sauna infusions is not allowed.

Registration at the entrance is also required. We ask you to use the Luca app (iOS | Android) or Corona Warn app (iOS | Android). Written registration is only possible in exceptional cases for customers without a smartphone.

Welcome to Aquarium Sauna

Welcome to Aquarium Sauna Karlsruhe – your gay sauna. More than 600 square metres on 3 floors are waiting to be dicovered by you. Our sauna is equipped with: sauna, biosauna, steambath with dark area, caldarium, whirlpool, relaxation rooms (partly equipped with video), DVD cinema, darkroom, solarium, outdoor area, free wi-fi access, bar and bistro.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

All men are warmly welcome. Women are not allowed to enter. We are a sauna for gay and bisexual men. Heterosexual men may also enter as far as they feel comfortable.

Stop Philippstr. is approx. 3 minutes away.

You can park in the surrounding streets free of charge.

You have to bring nothing, you get everything with us. A locker for your clothes and a towel. Shower gel is available at the showers, hair-dryer and brush in the lockerroom, condoms and glide are available free of charge at the bar. Additional towels and slippers can be borrowed for a fee.

Our sauna is mainly equipped with underfloor heating. Decide for yourself.

You can pay cash, with EC or credit card. At the entrance you get a key with a number on it for your locker. With this number you can order drinks and snacks at the bar. When you leave the sauna you will pay for your consumption according to your key number.

No, there are no extra costs for the cabins.

Admission is valid all day, so you can stay as long as you want until closing time. If you want to take a break and leave the sauna, you just have to show your ID when leaving and re-entering.

Guests of all ages visit the sauna. Minimum age to enter is 18.

Sunday is the busiest day. How many people visit the sauna also depends on the weather.

Yes, we offer a variety of snacks e.g. Baguettes, sandwiches, soups and salad.
